Online courses can be applied towards certification, however one-half of the classes required for each section for certification must be in-person classes.
There is a short quiz covering the material in module. You may try the questions as many times as you want, but to finish the quiz you need to get all of them correct before hitting “Finish”.
All 6 modules need to be submitted to receive credit.
1. For best results please use Internet Explorer with the latest version of the Adobe Flash plugin if possible.
2. There is a print option on the results page. The program will print your report to a web page which you will then need to print through your web browser. Please be sure to check all open tabs in your browser for the printable results.
3. Send all five modules’ quiz results to MTCCA, 60 Community Drive, Augusta Maine 04330 to receive credit.
Disclaimer: This class does not contain information from any of the 2019 rulemaking processes currently underway, newly adopted legislation becoming effective in September, 2019, recently updated policies from DRVS or the newest draft of the Vitals’ manual; however this class will still provide a solid foundation of the basic information needed for the administration of vital records on the local level. The timetable for the updated release of this class is dependent upon updated materials being provided by DRVS. Students who wish to review the updated version will be allowed free access within six months of taking this class.
