Scholarships
The Bangor Daily News Scholarship may be used to attend an MTCCA Title 21-A workshop, Registrar workshop or registration fee to attend the Secretary of State’s Election Conference, and is offered to all MTCCA member municipal clerks or deputy / assistant clerks.
The D. Brenda Caldwell Scholarship may be used to attend any MTCCA workshops or seminars. It is open to all Maine municipal clerks, deputy/assistant clerks; members and non-members of the MTCCA organization.
The MTCCA Municipal Clerks’ Institute and Academy Scholarship Assistance is offered to MTCCA members who will be attending an Institute or Academy that has been approved by the International Institute of Municipal Clerks (IIMC).
Scholarships from other resources:
As a courtesy to NEACTC & NEMCI and to assist Maine municipal clerks, posted is the New England Municipal Clerks’ Institute and Academy Scholarship application and information for further education at their sponsored institute. Offered is a three year program for municipal clerk certification, a step towards an optional master municipal clerk; and continuous education at their academy.
Members of the International Institute of Municipal Clerks may also apply for scholarships for further education. www.iimc.com .
